I work in engineering as a software engineer and I’m the only female engineer in the company and I’ve found I’m being talked over a lot. How do I broach the subject politely?

I am not a very confrontational person, and fear I will come across as rude if I interjected to speak over them to make my point.

I do thoroughly enjoy my job and it’s challenges, so I’m not looking to quit!

Edit: speaking louder doesn’t really solve my problem, I will then become the rude one and it’s a fine line to tread. I’ve tried this approach already and it’s not been successful.
